Here, dairy cows and goats are raised, and in the small farmhouse cheese dairy, traditional cheeses are crafted every day—always exploring lost cheeses and new creations!
Eros will guide you through the art of cheesemaking in this special half-day experience, full of authentic gestures, rich aromas, and unforgettable flavours.
THE PROGRAMME
The activities begin early in the morning, right after the milking.
In the dairy, we will wear the cheesemaker’s clothes and immerse ourselves in the processing of raw milk, following ancient, carefully handed-down techniques.
We will discover the secrets of different production methods and how, from a simple ingredient, unique cheeses are created, each with its own distinct character.
We will witness the magic of the curd taking shape, learn how to cut it, and, among molds and forms, craft our own cheeses!
During the visit, we will also explore the art of aging cheese in caves, discovering how natural elements like walnut leaves help transform and enrich the flavours over time.
Once the work in the dairy is done, a well-deserved moment of relaxation awaits with a tasting of the cheeses produced on-site, accompanied by other local products: a way to savour the result of work made by hand… and with heart.
