Cingoli and Recanati
We call Cingoli “The Marche Balcony” because of the marvellous panorama you can admire from the village.
In this place you will enjoy a genuine land and make unique encounters!
Recanati, where the famous poet Giacomo Leopardi was born, has many other stories to tell! You will discover the town together with Gaia, your guide before discovering the agricultural side of the town by a short cooking class based on saffron in Andrea’s farm!
TRAVEL JOURNAL
DAY 1
Arrival in Cingoli in the early afternoon. Get inspired by our suggestions to enjoy your first day!
You will be welcomed in the accommodation facility with a typical food dinner!
DAY 2
Let’s go! After a rich breakfast it’s time to meet Sylvano, your MTB guide and to get in the saddle of your e-bike!
By lunch time you will reach Recanati passing through this unique rural landscape!
In the city centre your bike friendly hotel will welcome you with a good lunch, then you will be free to settle in your room.
In the early afternoon you will find Gaia waiting for you in the central square. She will accompany you around the village, guiding you from a place to another telling you histories and anecdotes about Recanati.
You will arrive to the civic tower and rise to the top!
The tour will lead you to “Villa Colloredo Mels” hosting the very interesting Marche people emigration museum. A visit is worth it!
DAY 2 - IN THE EVENING
At the end of the guided walk it’s time to discover the agricultural side of Recanati! You will get on your e-bike again to reach in few minutes Andrea’s farm. He is a young photographer, video maker, passionate cook, farmer and breeder!
Together with him and his family you will discover all the secrets of saffron cultivation and, once put the apron on, you will start a cooking class to realise an entire menu based on saffron dishes from the appetiser to the dessert!
It will be soon the time for tasting one by one all the dishes all together around the table!

The way back it’s an amazing bike ride by night with Sylvano but, before leaving, there’s another experience to live! You will inspect the sky in the small astronomical observatory of the farm!
DAY 3
Way back to Cingoli by e-bike through new gravel roads!
You will arrive for lunch time.
You can decide to leave or maybe you prefer to stay few days to engage yourself in hiking, horseback riding or just relax!
Get inspired by our suggestions to live your last day in Cingoli!
