At the end of the lunch (or dinner) the visit ends, but you will take a small booklet with you containing the recipes you have experimented to reintroduce them once you return home to friends and family!

Your guide

Andrea: photographer, video maker, cook by passion, farmer and breeder!

In 2015, he started his project to turn his country house into a real farm.

Many projects realised, many in the pipeline!

THE PROGRAM

Meet at Andrea’s house mid-morning or mid-afternoon.
The welcome is based on saffron-flavoured tea, and we get right into the theme!
Before immersing ourselves in the aromas and smells of the kitchen, in the company of Andrea we set off for a walk around the farm on the land dedicated to the cultivation of the spice and to get to know the latest arrivals on the farm: the microgreens and two cute little goats!

The culinary experience

The time has come to get your hands in the dough!
We move inside, where Mama Mirella will talk to you about the culinary uses of saffron, telling you about the characteristics, culinary uses and secrets of this precious spice!
You will begin to understand how to make the most of saffron in the kitchen and become experts in the different types of infusion!

Hand over the pots and pans! It's time to cook!

The preparation begins. Following Andrea and Mirella’s advice, you will begin the transformation of the ingredients into excellent saffron yellow dishes!
And after so much effort, you can end the day at the table enjoying the excellent dishes prepared!
Those taking part in the visit in the afternoon can stay after dinner to enjoy another unique experience: scanning the sky in the small astronomical observatory of the farm!
