A typical landscape of the Marches. A place full of history. A unique place that has seen generations of men and countless vicissitudes pass in front of it. A stone mill moved by the power of water for 500 years, but also a hydro-electric power plant and the ruins of what was once a diversified production settlement where cereals were ground, olives were crushed to produce oil and wood was sawn using, then as today, the inexhaustible power of water.
Andrea, the miller, is waiting for you to make you discover this special place. His family has been involved in the management of the mill since the very beginning, 500 years ago.

THE EXPERIENCE - VISIT PROGRAM

You will be welcomed at the mill where Andrea, will show you the functioning of the stone mills moved by the force of water, he will talk about the role of water and the tasks of the miller; the product obtained from this grinding system and its organoleptic and nutritional characteristics; the eco-compatibility and sustainability of the production of his mill.

The visit will continue following the course of the water...

the ever-present protagonist of this place. Going up the canal, Andrea will lead you to where the water is taken by diverting the river. Returning from the walk, you will discover “the latest arrival”: the hydro-electric plant that further enhances the role of water that has so deeply set off the history of this place.

And at the end of this experience...

discovering this fascinating place there is nothing better than a snack based on local products to be consumed in the company of the millers on the banks of the river.

The fee includes:
• Visit to the historic stone mill and explanations on its operation

• Transfers to and from the mill
